Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Benton Harbor MI

I really enjoy staying here, but their weekend summer prices are a little over the top for Benton Harbor. Even with my membership and discounts it was over$140 for a night. During the week it's around $80 a night. The lady who checked us in was very nice and super helpful. The room was very clean and contemporary​. The bed very comfortable with just the right amount of pillows.

Rooms are exceptionally clean. Beds are very comfortable. (The beds do sit high. If this is a problem, call the front desk for a step stool.) Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has hot food choices along with the standard "continental breakfast" fare.

Room and bathroom was VERY clean. Room rate was VERY cheap and competitive based on the same star ratings of other hotels in the area. All staff employees were VERY friendly and helpful and did whatever they could to make my stay enjoyable. Free breakfast which included warm eggs & sausages, biscuits & gravy, and waffles was VERY good. I would VERY much stay there again. There was nothing wrong with the hotel or my stay there.

Really much cleaner and better stocked with amenities than most hotels in its class -- we were impressed! We first tried the Best Western next door, but they wanted to charge us more than the listed rates as a "walk in" and we couldn't justify the price since we were checking in at 5am. Thankfully we called Days Inn instead, who offered us a MUCH better rate and were more flexible with check out time! We slept well and have no quibbles about this place. Thanks Days Inn!

The bed was great. The bathroom was clean and updated. The fridge has a separate freezer. Important for people on the road. We carry coolers or I do. Price was around 80 during the week. Just what I was looking for.

This dated hotel lacked amenities like a pool or even an elevator, but the bed was​ comfortable and the premises were fairly clean. The employees were nice and did their best to suit our needs. I feel like we overpaid for our experience after visiting friends in the Comfort Inn just down the road, who paid the same amount for their clean and modern hotel with a pool and hot tub. However, they booked their room a few weeks before us. Their hotel was full by the time we booked ours, and no decent hotels in the area were priced very well.

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding. Got here late Saturday night, and the front desk was very friendly and helpful, even at a late hour. Our king size bed was great after a long night. Our room, while cozy, was very comfortable for my girlfriend and me. The size was easier to control the temperature. The free continental breakfast was just the same as every other one, but they did have egg patties, which was a welcomed addition. What I liked the most though is how they helped my girlfriend out. Her dress for the wedding ripped a little, what closes the chest region. They were willing to give us a bobby bin so she could stop from revealing her chest to the world. So for that we were appreciative. Considering all this, i would definitely come here again!

We needed a room unexpectedly because of terrible road conditions in January. We called after midnight and the front desk person gave us a good rate and guided us in with local directions. When we arrived, he was very kind and welcoming. The hotel appeared clean and has a nice smell. When we got to the room, there was a very comfortable King sized bed with 4 pillows! Room temperature was easy to control but made the curtains fall away from the window letting light in, so I used a couple bobby pins to hold them together. The room was reasonably clean but the greatest plus was the quietness of the room and the comfortable bed! We missed the breakfast because we slept in. The front desk accommodated us with an hour later check out. Side note: Sadly, the only person that was unimpressive was the owner himself.....He paced around the lobby area, loudly talking on his cell phone to one person after another and never acknowledged or greeted one guest. (I was sitting out there reading while my husband got extra rest in our room). He made no attempt to clear the front walk or the main entrance of all the snow that had fallen. The departing guests had to trample through it with their luggage. And the parking lot was still unplowed at noon!
